Greenwood Toy Library

The Greenwood Toy Library is a non profit organisation which provides an extensive range of toys for our members to borrow.
Having access to a toy library provides a huge range of benefits to local families including

  • Having access to hundreds of toys.
  • Borrowing toys that are matched to children’s individual need, stage of development and interests.
  • Borrowing toys that are designed to facilitate particular skill development in children e.g. threading beads to assist fine motor skills.
  • Avoiding storage issues of multiple or bulky toys.
  • Helping the environment by borrowing rather than purchasing.
  • Meeting other young families.
  • Having an opportunity to try toys before families buy, therefore ensuring successful toy purchases.
  • Being a part of the local community.

The Greenwood Toy Library has been a part of the community since it was first established in 1992 and was first known as the Bunyip Toy Library.
