Why Join ? :
Toy Libraries Victoria is an umbrella organisation for Toy Libraries in Australia (with the exception of Western Australia, for which our sister organisation WAATL, is available). We provide toy libraries with support, advice, information, a triannual newsletter (Merry-Go-Round) and optional insurance at greatly reduced rates. We provide opportunities for networking via our workshops, an annual seminar and through an internet forum. We provide publicity via our website, telephone information and support service, public displays at expos and we assist the public in locating member toy libraries to join. We also provide resources such as promotional posters and leaflets.
Who Are We?
Toy Libraries Victoria is a not for profit organisation, which is managed by a committee of toy library representatives, who offer their services on a voluntary basis. The committee meets monthly and consists of employees and volunteers from a variety of toy libraries. (Metropolitan Victorian toy libraries with a membership of 80 or more families are required to provide a committee member every three years.) This ensures we do not operate in isolation and provides an opportunities for networking.
Who Can Join ?:
Membership of Toy Libraries Victoria is open to all not-for-profit toy libraries in Australia with the exception of Western Australia (for which our sister organisation WAATL, is available).
How Much ? :
Membership fees fund the work of the association. The amount paid by your toy library is indicated by the number of members in your toy library.
