VOLUNTEERING
Toy libraries can only operate thanks to the work of volunteers, and the COVID-19 situation has increased the need for toy libraries to find quality volunteers to help keep their services running.
Toy libraries welcome volunteers from all walks of life and across a range of ages - the only requirement is that you have a Working with Children Check. There's lots of ways you can contribute, and many roles don't require a specific skill set, just the willingness to pitch in. Volunteer roles might include assisting at borrowing sessions, repairing toys, marketing, website design, fundraising or administration and many toy libraries will also welcome volunteers to their committee of management. If you're keen to volunteer please contact your local toy library via our toy library locator.
If the volunteer opportunities at your local toy library don't suit your availability or skill set please contact and we'll be sure to find a suitable position for you.
